About Scarlet’s Bakery
As a social enterprise bakery, Scarlet’s Bakery is a training ground for women seeking a fresh start. We strive to employ, equip & empower women as they transition toward a new career from backgrounds of abuse and exploitation. We do this by hosting a Career Development Program on site to prepare women with essential life, work and leadership skills for their future careers. By no means is the bakery the end goal for our participants. Rather, the very opposite; Scarlet’s Bakery is only the beginning.
Role of Bakery Administrative Assistant:
Intern will assist the Bakery Director. This position is primarily working with bakery staff in offices, assisting with sales & marketing and a variety of other tasks. This is a highly detail-oriented position, with a lot of behind the scenes work. This position is available for men or women.
Responsibilities of Bakery Administrative Assistant:
- Assisting Bakery Director
- Helping with bill pay
- Organization of receipts
- New employee paperwork
- Filing paperwork
- Data entry
- Working events (in hours)
- Keeping up with expense reports
- Create a welcoming and friendly environment to customers and staff
The above description is 50% of the LTN program.
