Role of Pastoral Team Assistant Intern:

The Pastoral Team Assistant Intern will assist the Lead Pastor & Pastoral Assistant at Sojourn Church Midtown. This position is an ideal role for someone feeling called to the pastorate. You should be willing to help in whatever way the Lead Pastor or Pastoral team need. Taking on this role will not mean that you are going to preach. However you will get to see the craft of preaching and see the work that goes into being the lead pastor.  This job is a good mix of administrative, research and people oriented.


Responsibilities of Pastoral Team Assistant Intern:

  • Sermon research
  • Research for various projects being worked on by pastoral team
  • Assist with weekly bulletin printing
  • Assist with creation and implementation of sermon slides
  • Assist with tasks that come up for the pastoral team
  • Event coordinator for events as needed
  • Assist with running errands
  • Assist with scheduling meetings
  • Assist with creating an atmosphere of hospitality


The above description is 50% of the LTN program.
